RADIOPAQUE LIPOSOMES AND THEIR USE IN NUCLEAR MEDICINE

Summary:
Radiocontrast liposomes ( Radiopaque Liposomes ) are advantageous systems for computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging and radionuclidic imaging. The tissue and organ images obtained with radiopaque liposomes are higher inquality and more prolonged compared to the images obtained by free subtances. The characteristics, types, advantages, preparation methods and biodistribution of radiopaque liposomes are discussed, in this review article.
