Summary:
Sulfonylurea derivatives which have been used as oral antidiabetic agents since 1956 increase insulin secretion without affecting insulin synthesis. In this study , antidiabetic effects, structure-activity relationship, metabolism, synthesis and various spectral data of sulfonylurea derivatives have been evaluated.
